Achievement Transformation
It is important to both introduce external resources into HSC and foster local innovation capacity, and bring in research institutions to attract innovation-oriented enterprises through the construction of facilities and platforms, so as to build an innovation system that integrates industry and research, seamlessly connect basic research with industrial development needs, and create atwo-way collaborative industrial development system.
HSC will focus on making breakthroughs in key disruptive technologies guided by HSC’s five major fields of science, and transform basic and applied research into real productivity. By developing innovation-oriented technology services (1), HSC will both engage external resources and foster local innovation capacity in its development of five “Hard &Core Technologies” including new materials, life and health, information &intelligence science and precision instruments, space and earth exploration, energy conservation and environmental protection. It will strive to foster future and emerging industries (X) without “over-planning”.
