Once completed, the facility will be able to meet the research needs in cutting-edge science and engineering applications, serving as a world-leading test platform for high-energy synchrotron radiation. The facility will also be the first high-energy synchrotron radiation facility in China, providing strong support for enhancing China's scientific and technological innovation capabilities.
