II. Main Contents
Project introduction: The Ground-based Experiment Base for the Space Laboratory provides a comprehensive platform for scientific experiments, project incubation and demonstration across a range of fields, including space life breeding, space tissue culture, protein experiments and applications, space material experiments, space combustion experiments, simulated experiments in variable gravity and closed bioregeneration.
The project is developing an internationally leading ground-based experiment base for the manned space station, China's national space laboratory. This will provide key support for scientists from universities and research institutions as well as for the general public to conduct ground-based experiments in space science.
The Ground-based Experiment Base for the Space Laboratory is a recently constructed facility that boasts leading technical indicators in comparison to similar international facilities.
The project will establish a collaborative research platform integrating space and earth with the manned space station and the mirror platform for scientific experiments in the space station. This will become an important infrastructure for ground research serving space applications. The project will promote the sustained output of major scientific and technological achievements, significantly improving China's scientific research and technical level in space science and greatly promoting the leapfrog development of space science research and applications.
