Real-life View of Interdisciplinary Research Platform for Brain Cognitive Function Mapping and Brain-inspired Intelligence
  II. Main Contents
 Project introduction: The Interdisciplinary Research Platform for Brain Cognitive Function Mapping and Brain-inspired Intelligence aims to create the next-generation artificial intelligence infrastructure inspired by brain research and oriented towards general intelligence.
The construction comprises four platforms: brain-inspired cognitive function simulation, brain connectivity mapping technology, brain-inspired intelligence regulation research, and brain-inspired intelligence verification. The brain-inspired cognitive function simulation platform is the core of the system, providing a computable brain cognitive function simulator. The brain-inspired intelligence regulation research platform and the brain connectivity mapping technology platform provide the data, theoretical and technical foundations for the brain simulator simulation modelling from dynamic and static perspectives, respectively. The brain-inspired intelligence verification platform uses robots and other carriers to provide functional testing and experimental verification for the brain simulator.
This project will construct an experimental environment for cross-disciplinary research covering computational brain, structural brain, functional brain and machine brain. The resulting platform will provide a comprehensive research support solution, encompassing research, technology, simulation and verification for the intersection of brain science and brain-inspired intelligence. The project boasts a world-class brain science knowledge engine and multi-scale brain cognitive function simulation capabilities. It also has the capacity to map and analyze brain functions and structural connectivity at the micro-mesoscopic level, as well as online, long-term, configurable experimental equipment and testing capabilities for brain intelligence development and evolutionary research.
