II. Main Contents
Project introduction: This project provides substantial support for the construction of platforms for theoretical simulation, device research and development, and application system integration verification at the Terahertz Science and Technology Center. This project will establish a world-class research platform, advance fundamental theories and core devices, and ensure the security of the industrial chain supply chain.
The construction includes a terahertz quantum electromagnetics research platform, a multi-scale micro-system process platform for multi-component materials, a terahertz radar-communication research platform, and a terahertz biomedical research platform.
This project is focused on the study of the excitation characteristics of quasi-particles that are exclusive to the terahertz band, as well as the methods for manipulation of these particles. Additionally, it aims to establish and develop the theory of terahertz quantum electromagnetism.
The Terahertz Science and Technology Center Platform will develop a theoretical framework and system for terahertz quantum electromagnetism, develop miniaturized terahertz core components that operate at room temperature, achieve original innovations in the field of terahertz science, produce original results, and form a terahertz academic highland with significant international influence.
