II. Main Contents
Project introduction: The Beijing Laser Acceleration Innovation Center will conduct research on the generation of laser-driven high-energy charged ion beams and their applications in fusion energy, space radiation simulation, biological irradiation, and ultrafast ion beams. The aim is to promote the interdisciplinary integration of laser accelerators with energy, space, biology, materials, and other disciplines.
The Beijing Laser Acceleration Innovation Research Center mainly includes a laser proton accelerator application research platform and a laser acceleration process support platform. It contains more than 30 laboratories, including a repeated frequency femtosecond laser system, a laser ion acceleration target field, a laser-driven fusion plasma diagnosis platform, a space radiation environment simulation platform, an laser-accelerated proton irradiation application research platform, an ultrafast ion beam application research platform, a parameter testing for optical components, an electronics research and development laboratory, and a data center.
