Project introduction: The "full quantum" concept forms the basis of this platform, which explores light element quantum materials through an integrated, clear and efficient technical route comprising “material design – precise preparation – precise detection – quantum device”.This platform will play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of new light element materials, detecting and discovering new quantum effects, and applying related quantum phenomena in a range of fields, including energy, the environment, information, and biology. This platform will facilitate research into "new materials of light elements" and the implementation of new concepts, generating a number of original new ideas, methods and results in the field of basic research on new materials of light elements. It will become the world's first international comprehensive research centre for light elements.
This platform comprises four research departments: design and prediction of quantum materials, precise preparation of quantum materials, precise detection and control of quantum properties, and processing and testing of quantum devices. The platform employs an optimised combination and connection of different standardised modules of each research department to achieve significant breakthroughs in basic research that will drive innovation in key technologies. It will become the source and standard of high technology, achieving comprehensive leadership in the field of scientific and technological research on new materials for light elements.
