Test Facility for Comprehensive Extreme Conditions

The Test Facility for Comprehensive Extreme Conditions was built by the Institute of Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and co-built by Jilin University. It is intended to become a world-leading comprehensive user facility for extreme conditions such as ultra-low temperatures, ultra-high pressures, strong magnetic fields and ultrafast light fields.
The Test Facility for Comprehensive Extreme Conditions includes the physical property characterization system for extreme conditions, the quantum state control system for extreme conditions, the ultrafast physical research system constructed in Beijing, and the high-temperature, high-pressure bulk material research system constructed in Jilin.
The Test Facility for Comprehensive Extreme Conditions (Beijing) is now in trial operation. The facility has been launched on the Sharing Service Platform for CAS Large Research Infrastructures (https://lssf.cas.cn) and is accessible to users at home and abroad for booking.
