Platform of Advanced Photon Source Technology R&D

The Platform of Advanced Photon Source Technology R&D (PAPS) started trials in June 2021. It has two sub-platforms, all of which are accessible to the public.
The Accelerator Technology Innovation Research Sub-platform is mainly divided into four parts: superconducting high-frequency system, cryogenic system, precision magnet system, and beam test system.
The aforementioned platform can be utilised for the advancement of research and development in new technologies, the performance testing and proof of concept of novel technical equipment, and ultimately the production of pivotal technologies and equipment for new accelerators that are both advanced in performance and mature and reliable.
The X-ray Technology Innovation Research Sub-platform includes three innovation research systems: X-ray optics, X-ray detection and X-ray applications.
The X-ray optics system is designed to meet the cutting-edge requirements of X-ray optics components, developing ultra-high-resolution detection technology, processing technology, and control and assembly technology. This forms a series of optical equipment that is suitable for high-level experiments.
The X-ray optics system is designed to meet the most advanced requirements for X-ray optics components, encompassing the development of ultra-high-resolution detection techniques, processing techniques, and control and assembly techniques. Additionally, it wull form a series of optical equipment that is suitable for high-level experiments.
The X-ray application system is dedicated to the advancement of optics and detection technology. It engages in the exploration of pioneering experimental methodologies and techniques in imaging, diffraction/scattering, spectroscopy, and time resolution.
