Overview
HSC is located in the north of Beijing, in the hilly area where the Yanshan Mountains transition to the North China Plain. With an excellent natural ecological background, it is an important part of the ecological conservation area of the capital. The overall area is about 100.9 square kilometers, with the planning area mainly in Huairou District (about 68.2 square kilometers), and expanded to parts of Miyun District (about 32.7 square kilometers). It is about 58 kilometers away from the central urban area of Beijing and about 34 kilometers away from the Capital International Airport.
