Recently, Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC) opened a dedicated service hotline (8610)606-40800 to provide consultation for talent-related services. The original hotline remains available for international talents to apply for work permits and international students to apply for work and residence permits.

The new system offers functions in the following three aspects:

Direct call. No matter where the talents are and what service they seek, all they need is to dial 606-40-800 to access all services provided by BOTC. The system, based on the requests of the talents, will automatically transfer the calls to the relevant service departments.

24-hour service. Under the new system, both voice assistant and agent service are available during working hours from 9:00 to 11:00 and 14:00 to 17:00, while voice assistant and voicemail available during non-working hours. In this way, international talents can consult from anywhere at any time.

Increased lines. A total of ten Lines will be in use for voice consultation and more will be added anytime when necessary. During peak consultation periods, talents will be informed about how many people are in front of them so that they can choose to wait or hang up based on their own needs.
